Breaking Down the Walls in Folsom Cordova

Breaking Down the Walls took a few hundred students from Folsom High School outside of their comfort zone. Students who would not otherwise talk to each other were asked to communicate deep feelings and personal experiences in order to grow empathy and respect for their fellow classmates. Folsom High School Teacher Julie DeVore stated: “Everybody has a story . . . we just need to be kind and caring toward others because we never really know what’s going on in their lives.”
