SECC Hosts First Virtual Judging for 2021
After the SEVA entry due date, SECC staff works to ensure that every entry has all paperwork in order so that it can move forward in competition to the judging round. This year, it’s estimated that virtual judging will take approximately 90 hours spread over nearly three weeks. Over 80 dedicated judges from administrators and teachers to media professionals give their time to review each qualified entry. Judges grade entries in a certain category and grade level, and score each one based on a specific rubric. Judges also provide positive comments and areas for improvement that will be passed on to the student producers after the winners are announced. To review each rubric, follow the links below.
