The Hinderstein Award was created in honor of Allan Hinderstein who was a pioneer in the field of education and whose unwavering passion, dedication and innovation reshaped the landscape of teaching video in Sacramento County. Allan knew the importance video would have in our lives and encouraged our teachers and students to utilize this wonderful tool in the best way possible.
Each year SEVA recognizes a teacher who also embodies these amazing traits and who is making a difference in the world around them.
