CHRISTIAN KIEFER is the author of the novel The Infinite Tides and a new novel, The Animals, published this year from Liveright. He holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Davis and serves on the faculty of American River College where he is editor-in-chief of Ad Lumen Press. He has published short fiction and poetry, most recently in Santa Monica Review, Zyzzyva, and Catamaran Literary Reader.
EDAN LEPUCKI is the author of the novella If You’re Not Yet Like Me, originally published by Flatmancrooked, and recently re-released by Nouvella Press. The Los Angeles Times named her a Face to Watch for 2014. Her debut novel, California, was published by Little, Brown, debuting at #3 on the New York Times Bestsellers List. Edan is a graduate of Oberlin College and the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and her short fiction has been published in Narrative Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, Meridian, FiveChapters, and McSweeney’s, among others. She is a staff writer for The Millions and teaches creative writing at the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program and for Writing Workshops Los Angeles, which she founded.
