April is National Poetry Month and we want to congratulate our NUSD students who recently made the Sacramento Area Youth Speaks Poetry Slam team! Adiyah, a senior, placed 1st; Noelle, an 8th grader, placed 2nd; and Ashea, a 9th grader, placed 3rd. 9th grader Benjamin also participated and placed 4th.
