US Army High School Challenge
Natomas High School is the first-ever Sacramento high school selected to be part of the U.S. Army High School Challenge. Only 150 high schools nationwide were chosen this year. Students demonstrated their physical fitness and mental strength through various challenges, including climbing a “victory wall,” extracting a teammate through rope obstacles, an “air lift” physical agility drill, etc. It was an all-day event, but each team took about an hour to complete the course.
