Meet Charles M. Rice, Ph.D., winner of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Medicine, Professor, and Head of the Laboratory of Virology and Infectious Disease at Rockefeller University. Dr. Rice attended Rio Americano High School and is one of four outstanding San Juan Unified School District graduates joining the STARS Hall of Fame on October 1, 2021 at ‘An Evening with the STARS.’

SECC’s mission is to provide quality educational resources to learners of all ages in the greater Sacramento community primarily through video and other information and communication technologies via cable systems and networks.
