Program Idea: My idea started with a stop motion character that I drew and then I came up with an idea to teach ASL. I used my character that I drew with all the different hand signs in my video. At my middle school there is a deaf population and many hearing kids want to learn how to communicate with them.
Message: I wish to teach ASL so that people have the opportunity to communicate with the deaf. The deaf community really likes it when others try to communicate with them in ASL. Students see me interpret on our news show so now they can understand what I am signing.
