Defining 2020:
My SEVA defines 2020 by showing a few of the difficulties that people had to go through and it also reveals some of the ways that people overcome those challenges by adopting an animal. My SEVA also displays the difficulties that two different people went through adopting dogs during the pandemic. My video also explains a challenge and positive that a local shelter called the “Sacramento SPCA” went through. My video was influenced by Covid-19 because I was unable to meet in person to video the first two interviews and had to use zoom to meet with them. It also took much longer to reach the animal shelter due to Covid-19 because so many people were trying to reach them. Another way the pandemic hindered my SEVA was when I was filming one of the people that worked at the animal shelter, it was really hard to hear her because she was wearing a mask.
