Documentary 7-8 SEVA Award: The Children of Syria
From Producer Hasan of Winston Churchill Middle School: I wish to teach students in our area about the horrors going on around the world, because we must all be educated about the world we live and current events, it is our world. I would also like to convey how lucky we are to be living in America.
Documentary 7-8 Honorable Mention: We Rise By Lifting OthersĀ
From producer Farah of Andrew Carnegie Middle School: My message is that this is the world we live in. A world with drought, war, and disasters. A world where millions of people struggle to survive everyday. People live in remote areas where it’s difficult to call for help and get help. We must treat people the way we want to be treated in a crisis. There are people that are suffering, so I think it’s our job to help them and relieve a bit of that suffering.
